Using Gen AI Directly into Test Automation Frameworks: Advancement of Vertex

Generative AI and its uses are surpassing boundaries day by day. Starting from Image & Video generation to code generation. Their are no limits!

We need to start integrating and leveraging it as a tool so that in upcoming years we have a clear vision of its benefits. Now I have been using some of the APIs provided by Gemini, Google Cloud to have some hands on about the working and how prompting works!

I am providing a list of API’s I have tried and used for understanding the working with it, I have started incorporating Vertex AI API directly into Test Automation Framework. This API can help to:

1. Generate a skeleton of automated script for like Selenium WebDriver and Java by providing the Test case or requirement
2. We can generate Test cases directly by providing the requirements with it we can also get priority of those test cases which should be automated first
3. If we Fine Tune a AI model, if your company/project/product allows it to get trained, then these models can generate even better results.
4. We can incorporate these models with API, Performance Testing and lot more depending upon the use case, hence we need to start trying!
